ever since i dreamed of my Bird Watcher wearing his long bird skill on his head i loved drawing them ever since ^^ i have seen a few artists here who taking a liking into bird masks, cow skulls, bird skulls etc. my dad even told me that when he was little ever single drawing he did had a bird head. at my city college my creative arts teacher had a box full of bird skulls and i enjoyed drawing them. ^^

Right now, influenced by school and other various artists and dreams, my new fetish shall be...

bird skulls and nude people. x3

that's another thing! i love nude photography! the more and more i see others works the more i wish i could do it too. i think the human body, and everything on how it moves, twists and turns, is the most expressive way to show emotion and feeling. and birds are like the symbol of being free and alive. and to take away a birds wing is like a heavy level of emotion like it is broken and its freedom is taken away. if u understand what I'm getting at.

at school i painted a painting about proposition 8. the woman on the tree with the bird mask, her wing is ripped away, she is also sitting on a branch with a fiery background.
the symbolism is this:

To take away the right to love(meaning homosexuals who cannot share their love and life for eternity through marriage),
Is like taking away a Bird's wings( and freedom to 'fly'.)

And then gasmasks! i love gasmasks, paintfilters and other masks. i think they are another great way to expression feeling and emotion. i painted me wearing a gasmask holding a red pear(i was gonna use an apple but i didn't have one. >.> that symbolizes a beautiful delicious fruit that draws you in it and makes u want to eat it badly, but its forbidden and is poisonous(from snow white), so this gasmask prevents you from doing so. i like gasmasks because it gives the viewer who looks at them a sense of neglect or hiding or running away, or like your trying to block something out of your life. something like that
